It is our commitment to provide a rich and wonderful camping experience for all campers. To assist us in offering the best camp experience we possibly can, please review with your child our camper code of conduct (see below). We want to create a safe and nurturing environment for everyone!

Generally these rules fall under what we refer to as the three “R’s”

Respect yourself.
Campers are expected, in accordance with their age, to take appropriate care of themselves (personal hygiene, eating healthy food, dressing appropriately and according to the weather, use appropriate language and manners)
Respect the environment
Campers are expected to treat the camp grounds with care. No causing damage to plants, dispose of the garbage appropriately, clean up after the activities and put things away.

Respect others.
We expect campers to treat one another and our staff with courtesy, respect, kindness and compassion.

If any camper behaves in a way which compromises our ability to foster a sense of respect, safety and preserve the dignity of every person at camp (campers and staff alike), then it must be understood they will be dealt with as described below.

Any camper that breaks any of the following in-house rules will have to have a time-out or MAY be sent home based on the seriousness of the offense. If that is the case, there will be no refund or credit on camp fees.

-
Inappropriate behaviour, such as bullying, teasing, harassment, swearing, acts of aggression (pushing, shoving, hitting), pranks, practical jokes or disrespect for other people or the environment are not tolerated at Camp ArtTech. What may seem as a “harmless joke” to one person may have lasting emotional or physical consequences for others.

-
Ownership and use of cell phones by campers at camp is prohibited.
-
Taking other people's possessions without their consent is unacceptable.

-
Vandalizing or damage to camp property and equipment is a serious offense and will not be tolerated. This includes any intentional damage to grounds, equipment or supplies.

Campers must ALWAYS remain inside our designated boundary, unless accompanied by the staff for a hike in the conservation area. This will be explained to campers during their tour of our facilities.
